New for 2025 we are offering Walnut Lodge Escapes.
These are all inclusive 5-7 day mini breaks.
Let us take care of you, pamper you and motivate you to try something new. Coming up we have week long mini breaks. We will collect you from Tarbes airport where your escape will begin. All your meals are included with locally produced wines. We will design an itinerary for the week, supply you any materials that you may need and provide you with a suitable mentor for your time here. It’s a pure escape from the usual stresses of modern life. You’ll meet new, like minded people and have a refreshed outlook on life at the end of your escape.

Dan and Andrew are such wonderful hosts, we couldn’t recommend them highly enough! Their attention to detail, friendliness and their accommodation are second to none.
The gite itself is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and with the added bonus of a patio area and swimming pool, what more could you need?!
Dan and Andrew even left us freshly laid eggs from their lovely hens, honey from the bee hives that they have as well as milk and wine.
This is a rural idyll, an escape from the modern world, it’s off the beaten track and gives you a true taste of France. If you want to get away from it all, in a beautiful setting in the French countryside, then this is for you.
We’ll definitely return.

Walnut Lodge is a beautiful Gite set in lovely peaceful countryside. The Gite was warm and inviting with everything that we needed, the large walk in shower was a treat as was the comfortable living space and bedrooms.
We received a warm welcome from the hosts who were eager to help in anyway they could. A welcome box with their own free-range eggs and honey and local wine was a special treat. Outside there is a patio where you can sit and view the surrounding countryside and the Pyrenees mountain's.
We shared an afternoon of friendly conversation with these lovely hosts plus a few glasses of wine. Our only regret was that we had to leave be we will definitely be back.
